Recommended and Supported Technology
RizePoint recognizes the different options for hardware and customer needs for having flexibility in purchasing decisions. The following is our minimum and recommended technology guidelines to assist you when using the Mobile Auditor application.
- RizePoint Mobile Auditor mobile app is supported on the following mobile devices:
-
- Windows 10 devices
- iOS, iPad OS, and Android OS(1) devices running the most current(2) and current minus 1 versions of the operating system (OS).
- For example, iOS 14 & 13 and Android 10 & 9 as of November 12, 2020.
- RizePoint Mobile Auditor web app is supported on current(2) and current minus 1 versions of Google Chrome(3).
(1) Please note we cannot guarantee universal support for all Android devices due to the open-source nature of Android OS and the manufacturer's unique implementation thereof. See https://developer.android.com/guide/practices/compatibility "What does Compatibility mean?" for additional details.
(2) "Most current" is defined as the latest version of the operating system as of approximately 30-45 days prior to the RizePoint product release date on the third Saturday of each month, in order to accommodate the product development cycle.
- For example, when iOS 14 was released on September 16, 2020, three days prior to the RizePoint product release, iOS 14 was supported in the October release.
(3) Other chromium-based browsers, e.g. Microsoft Edge, generally support Mobile Auditor web app but cannot be guaranteed due to the open-source nature of Chromium OS and the developer's unique implementation thereof.
(4) Minimum hardware recommendations should follow industry device standards in line with supported operating systems.
* These are considered minimum requirements. For audits that contain more than 20 images or documents, we do recommend higher RAM. These requirements are based on popularly used devices.
